There was no solution, it just fixed itself. I wish I could be more help but it appeared to be some strange glitch that resolved itself.

A strange thing just happened, the quota suddenly jumped back to where it was supposed to be. I am guessing this was some weird glitch. Thank you Jay for your advice on this matter. Hopefully, it will help others too.

I am at work right now and can't upload a screenshot but it is the Basic plan showing 2gb.

Checked the quota level. It says 2gb, Last week it was more. Promotional stuff has the amounts I have earnt but they are not reflected in my quota. Nothing new anywhere that states there was a change of any kind recently.

No, losing storage space. Everything was fine a few days ago. The all files are still there. The storage space just shrank for no reason. Would be nice to have someone from Dropbox respond as it seems from searching the forums that this is not an isolated incident.

Nothing except my recent uploads. No changes in service, no notifications of anything else.
