I can't offer a recommendation as I don't use Dropbox to play media.
-
Did you ever solve this issue? With only playing one song at a time? There is no solution for this in Dropbox because it's not a media player. Find a media player application that has Dropbox functionality built-in to it.

Moved to API forum.

There's no way to specify which domain is used. Different domains are used for different features. You just create a share link (or Public link if you still have a Public folder) and the link generated is the one you use. * https://help.dropbox.com/share/create-and-share-link#link *…

He's likely sharing a link from the Public folder, which is a deprecated method of sharing files and only available to older accounts that already had the capability.

Yes, it's from Dropbox. There's also a sticky post about it here on the forums. https://www.dropboxforum.com/hc/communities/public/questions/203479215-Dropbox-Terms-of-Service-Update-for-non-North-American-users

That's a developer function used when creating your own apps that work with Dropbox. You likely need to register a new app through the Developers console. https://www.dropbox.com/developers Moved to the API forum in case you need further assistance.

https://dl.dropbox.com/s/4shinfx72yzqsws/jquery.maskedinput-merged.js?dl=0 A share link with "www" at the beginning will open in the preview page. A share link with "dl" at the beginning will tell your browser to handle the file as it sees fit (display in the browser, open in a configured application, or present it for…

The Clear button you mentioned is actually to clear your recent searches. It has nothing to do with clearing events.
-
It's not possible to delete the event history.

There's no way to change the video thumbnail. Dropbox determines it on its own (it's a frame from approximately the 8 second mark).

From here: https://help.dropbox.com/syncing-uploads/files-not-syncing Max character length Windows only allows file and folder names of 260 characters or less. On top of this limit, certain applications—such as Microsoft Excel—have shorter limits (218 characters). Note that Windows counts the file path as part of the name,…

There's no need to post the same reply multiple times. Please direct further discussion to the following thread. Thank you. * https://www.dropboxforum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/204506155-Camera-upload-from-different-phones-into-different-folders

If using the Camera Upload feature all devices will upload to the Camera Uploads folder; this cannot be changed. If you want them to upload to a different folder you'd have to upload the files manually in the Dropbox client on the device.

I don't think so, Dave. It's showing up for shares that only have one other member (nearly all my shares are with just one person).
-
Good question. Mine are currently showing +8, and that wasn't there until recently.

There is no speed difference between the account types.

No puedes. Asegure la cuenta de usuario de la computadora en su lugar.

You need to provide more information about what you're doing, Lisa. Are you opening the files from the Dropbox folder on your computer, or through the Dropbox website? Do you have the proper program installed to open these files? Are you getting any error messages? Have the file extensions changed on the files? etc. The…

I find it strange that there is not thought of a much simpler model where the owner of the DB which is invited can CHOOSE to merge or not - instead of this just happens automatically. When you accept the invitation with an existing account, you're given a choice of moving your personal files to a new account or merging…

A business account shares with a non-business accounts = merging. They didn't share with you. They invited you to join their business account. If they had sent you a regular shared folder invitation, your account would not have been merged into the business. And how to get help? Have the team admin for the business account…
-
If you were removed from the account now, they would probably be deleted along with the account. This is why the team admin needs to contact Dropbox.
-
The team admin for the business account needs to contact Dropbox Support for this. If the team admin were to remove your account from the team now, it would simply be deleted.

Disabling comments completely is only available to Dropbox for Business customers. For everyone else, you can turn off comments for an individual file, but that's it.

My computer is a Mac. It's immune from ransomeware. No, it's not. * http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/08/business/mac-ransomware-attack-exposes-vulnerability-of-apple-users.html

They should just add a notification for suspicious activity (ie: all files were changed within an hour When a crypto attack takes place, the files are usually renamed. Dropbox sees this as a delete and an add (original file is deleted and the encrypted version is added). When it sees that a large number of files have been…
