Hi @"Ross_S", I don't use Selective Sync on this computer, and the Dropbox client is running. The option to open the file locally does not appear. This is occuring on multiple computers.

You need to follow the steps as listed in the Help Center, for personal accounts or for business accounts. Otherwise you'll need to contact Dropbox Support directly as this is a public forum and billing/account issues can not be handled here.

That's not possible with Dropbox. There are third-party services that use the Dropbox API to allow you to email a file to a folder in your account, but it's to a single specific folder.
