@"Fluffmeister1" wrote:I think the problem is that the article about sharing assumes that I'm the one doing the sharing, and tells me how I can unshare. The help article I linked to above explains how you can remove a shared folder that you're a member of. Refer to the section titled Permanently remove a folder.

Did you remove your access to the share, or simply delete the folder? * https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/share/leave-shared-folder

It would be best to describe the exact problem as it relates to you. Saying "same problem" isn't always accurate because your configuration may be different from the original author. For instance, the original author is talking about using Selective Sync, Smart Sync and an external drive. What, exactly, is the problem…

That's something that you'd need to ask Microsoft. Dropbox will sync any files you put it in. Whether or not OneNote supports Dropbox or allows you to save the files in Dropbox is something that only Microsoft can answer. [This thread is now closed by moderators due to inactivity. If you are experiencing a similar issue,…

That doesn't sound like a setting for Camera Uploads. On iOS it's simply an On/Off slider. I suspect it's similar on Android. Remember, you do this within the Dropbox app. Not within your phone's Settings/Permissions. Follow the help article that Mark posted, or tell us the type of phone you have.

@"hshaw" wrote:In my case, there isn't a PC involved. The PC doesn't matter. The point was that I see the files on a PC because Windows isn't configured to hide such files, like OS X or macOS do natively. It's still the Mac that's creating them. They're system files created by OS X and macOS.

I don't know whether Lightroom will try to download the entire photo library as preview, or only do it on-demand when I actually try to edit a file as opposed to just viewing the film-strip. @"Sam242" wrote:Why doesn't DropBox make a version that can run as a service? Because Dropbox has never intended for it to be used in that manner. It is NEVER advised to nest folders from different syncing services. It can cause problems with the sync, and in some (extreme) cases, data loss. If you need to move data from one service to the other and don't want to download/upload, use a third-party service such as Mover.io or Multcloud to do the transfer for you.

Remember to do the math before you compare the reported speeds in Dropbox to your speed tests. While most ISPs and speed test sites display their results in bits (kilo or mega), the speeds reported by Dropbox are in bytes. Be sure to do the conversion before comparing. Your 800KB/s transfer speed is approximately 6.4Mb/s.…

Interesting. That option wasn't listed in the version I have. Could be a difference in the beta, or maybe account type.

Have you clicked the arrow ^ in your system tray to expand the list of icons? If Dropbox is syncing, it should be there. Also, you don't need to go into the application to enable Smart Sync. As long as Dropbox is installed and Smart Sync is enabled for your account, you can simply right-click a file or folder and you…

No, it hasn't. I don't know of any service or file system that allows that, short of scripting it manually. I highly doubt this is something that will ever be integrated.

Is Dropbox enabled as a location in the Files app on your iPad? If not, Dropbox won't be available within Pages. I just tested this on an iPhone XS Max and it's working fine, as long as Dropbox is enabled within the Files app first.
