My photos went to Camera Uploads and husband's photos used to go to a shared folder called Camera Uploads from John until Dec 28 2018 when we both got new phones. Nothing has changed. There is no such error log on the client.

@"magdas" wrote:Is there no way to download an earlier version of Dropbox for IOS at all? The only way would be if you had previously installed an earlier version and that version was still available through the app store's previous purchases, but as you said, you've never installed it before so that option won't be…

You'll only be able to use the Dropbox website through a browser. You won't be able to install a Dropbox app.

Dropbox doesn't do file conversions. You'll either need to install an application on your computer that can play OGG files (I suggest VLC), or ask the sender to re-send them as MP3 files.
-
The problem is that you're using a single account for multiple users, when a Dropbox account is meant for a single individual. It's not meant to be shared by multiple people. To Dropbox, everyone using a single account is seen as the same person, so there's no need to limit access to files that the account is the owner of.…

No, that's not possible. Any new files or folders will automatically sync to other computers. Once they've synced, you need to use Selective Sync to remove folders that you don't want on that system. While this won't prevent access to the folders, if you have a Plus, Professional or Business account, you can set certain…

This isn't a Dropbox issue. This happens because applications typically use the full path when linking other files, and everyone's Dropbox is usually stored in a different location on their drive. The Dropbox folder on your computer (let's assume Windows for now) is typically located in your user profile, which would be…

The usage you see on your phone isn't related to the amount of files you have stored in your account. It's the total size of all data in use by the app. This could be files you've opened recently, files you've marked for offline use, cache, etc. There's a Clear Cache link within the apps Settings, or you can…

It's a manual process.

You have a Dropbox Basic account, which is free, thus no Billing tab. Once you have a paid subscription, the Billing tab will become available.
-
The Billing tab is separate from the Plan tab. * https://www.dropbox.com/account/billing If you still don't see it when clicking that link, check your Plan tab and tell us what plan it says you're on.

Yes. Any files you add to your local Dropbox folder…

Nothing has changed. There's no way to manage Smart Sync programatically.

@"RaySam" wrote:Is the Dropbox team making any progress on this issue? Dropbox doesn't discuss ETAs or even what features they may be working on. I'd suggest you post a request, or look for an existing one, in the Share an idea section of the forums.

@"albertina" wrote: Hi I have the same problem!! Charged twice for 3 months! Who can I talk to??? You need to contact Dropxbox Support directly. This is a public forum and billing/account issues cannot be handled here.

There's nothing to "fix" because there's nothing broken. You can already export emails from your chosen mail client to Dropbox, if your mail client supports it.

"Is this a phishing file in the dropbox app? Is it a false warning by Avast?" It's a false positive. That file isn't from the Dropbox website. When you use the icon in the Dropbox app to visit the website, the app directs you to a locally generated HMTL file which then redirects to the Dropbox website. That's the HTML file…

In the Adobe app, tap Files at the bottom. At the top left you'll see Locations. Tap that and you'll see an option for Dropbox. Tap it to sign in. If you're already signed in, swipe left on Dropbox and you'll see an option to sign out.
-
I just updated my iPad to the latest iOS (13.1.3) and saw the same problem. Linking Adode Reader to my Dropbox account first, from within the Adobe app, resolved the issue. Try that. If it's already connected, signout of Dropbox from within the Adobe app, then reconnect the apps.
-
It's working fine for me. Have you restarted the iPad yet? Removed and reinstalled both Dropbox and Adobe Reader?
-
Correct, on both accounts. A Dropbox account is required to access a shared folder, while a share link does not require an account. A share link is accessible to anyone that has the link.
