The option to disable the various notifications is within Preferences in the Dropbox app on their computers.

There's no way for you to turn notifications that they receive. Instead, they can turn off various notifications, including those for edits to files, within their own Dropbox Preferences.

There is no feature within Dropbox to disable the icon overlays. There are workarounds, some more succesful than others, if you search the forums, but none of them are supported.

@"Adam49" wrote: Does Dropbox have agents to talk to directly or a contact number You can find the support options that are available to you on the Support page. @"dwt" wrote:I don't have the emergency code. Can someone reset this feature or send me the code? Generally, no, Dropbox won't do that. You've enabled security on your account to prevent someone from trying to gain access without having your phone or emergency codes, and now you're trying to do just that. You can try…

There are no options within Dropbox to disable the icon overlays. The only solution is to remove the Registry entries and then remove permissions from the Registry key so that nothing can write to it again. This is NOT supported by Dropbox, or likely Microsoft for that matter. Use caution if you proceed.

@"Kelly391" wrote:How do I get dropbox to upload a pic to Nixplay electronic Photo Frame? The options for third party apps are too limited and not useful at all. You'll need to contact Nixplay to see if they have integration with Dropbox. If they don't, perhaps they have a user support forum where you can ask.

Just click the link. You don't need to have a Dropbox account to view a share link. Dropbox may prompt you to log in or create an account, but it's not required to view the file. [This thread is now closed by moderators due to inactivity. If you're experiencing a similar behavior, feel free to start a new discussion in the…

Do the links work (with the ?raw=1) if you paste them into the address bar of your browser? Use an Incognito/Private window so you're not logged into your Dropbox account. If the links work and you're able to either play the file in your browser or the browser tries to download it, then there's nothing wrong with the link.…

Walter is correct. You're looking at the Created Date or Modified Date which will often change to the date of download (regardless of the platform). This is because that's the date that the file was created on THAT device. The date the photo was taken is still preserved within the EXIF date (or metadata) for your photo.…
