I upload two files using the desktop app. It even asked if I wanted to replace. I checked yes. Several hours later, the files have not been updated. Dropbox is losing dependability. What’s going on?

If they haven’t read my document in a month, they are probably not going to read it.🧐🥴😂

Thanks Jay

Thanks Megan. That clears things up for me. One more question: If I copy the link and paste it in a text or email, does that also expire?

Going to taskbar settings and looking at list of apps on the taskbar, Dropbox was not turned on. I turned it on but the icon still didn’t appear. I reinstalled again and still no luck. I restarted my PC and it finally appeared. 👍

It’s not there either.

I reinstalled the app and was careful not to check backups; however, there is no icon installed in my system tray.😩 My PC is running Windows 10. There was no icon there the first time either.

Thanks Rich. If I did that by mistake, is there anyway to undo it short of reinstalling? I find no way to change preferences on my PC once it is installed.

Can you fix it where it doesn’t do PC backups? It doesn’t do it on my iPad.

Also, the app also placed files on my backup flash drive. I don’t appreciate that because it is a password protected drive. 😡 have deleted the desktop app until I can trust it.

There are no tabs in my app.😩
