I have the same issues and tried all the same steps, including Advanced Reinstall. It's been 48 hours since Support said I would be contacted by a Specialist. Any day now, right guys?

I have the same issue and have taken the same steps, including the advanced reinstall. It's been 48 hours since Support promised that I'd be contacted by a specialist. NOTHING. And what's really great is that all my previously synced files and now inaccessible because Dropbox can't index to see that they are actually there.

It still happens pretty regularly. Here's my workaround: Launch Activity Monitor and click on Network. Sort by Name, look for DropboxFileProvider. Force Quit that **bleep**. If the Dropbox app is running, it will immediately create a new instance and sync should resume. At least it's been working for me. Good luck!

I did in fact make one, but it was a 7 minute video and much too big to upload to the support portal. They also informed me that they were not allowed…
