You can only do this if one of the accounts is a Business Account. You can then follow this guide to do it.
-
Are you connected to the internet while trying to open then anonymous?
-
That sounds like its something to do with Access itself (is it linked to other files that need relative links etc. which are now broken?) Its also worth saying Access (or rather databases in general) and Dropbox are not a good combo!
-
Nope - as that shouldnt happen! Have you installed Dropbox via www.dropbox.com/downloading and are not using any sort of mobile/tablet version? Whats your OS?
-
Where and how are you trying to do this @"Tristar1982"? We need more info I'm afraid - can you give us step by step instructions on how/where you are opening it?
-
The limitation is, I believe, 10,000 files. It is there for data integrity reasons. The only other work around is to do the move in smaller chunks.
-
Out of interest @"Henri2" do you have Dropbox installed on your device? If so that keeps you logged in.
-
DO NOT SHARE YOUR PASSWORD WITH THEM!!!! Doing that effectively makes them the owner of the account, the same as you, and allows them to do ANYTHING they want with it - delete it, change password, change the email etc. and if they do YOU HAVE NO COME BACK as you permitted it by giving them the details. The only SAFE way to…

For the second one the issue is that the folder structure has #'s in the structure. The first one I reckon is too long a folder name - try renaming it to something smaller. www.dropbox.com/bad_files_check

Hi @"OGuyDave" and @"groundhog" I can tell you exactly what the issue is here. There is no file to recover it to because the file before your edit is over 120 days ago (assuming you are a paying user). You can ONLY recover and restore files that were previously edited to within 30 days for free users, or 120 for paid. So,…

The issue @"libbymitchellre" is there is no officially supported way to link Box to Dropbox. You need to download the files from Box to your computer and upload to Dropbox. Or. You need to use a third party tool such as mover.io to do it for you.
-
Hi @"cah1" In answer to your question (as it hasnt been answered) there is no way to do what you are asking I'm afraid. Dropbox does not offer any sort of SFTP/FTP functionality.
-
You need to contact them again then and ask them to resend it. Without them doing that you cannot access it. Theres no way to 'search' for shares to join etc.
-
Hi That error is because you have a 1TB account. They do not. To be a part of a shared folder EVERYBODY needs to have the available quota to access it.

I'm based in the UK so things may be slightly different here, but, things are very clearly marked as B2B or consumer. I cannot, for example, go to any retailer and demand products are none VAT-able just as I have a VAT number unless its specific products within there range. So much so many sites have a totally separate…
-
It may be something that is coming in the new Extensions set up, but, no, I dont think you can save directly to the cloud and work on files inside Dropbox on the Adobe Cloud.
-
@"artmanjam1" "Why does Dropbox charge EU b2b customers VAT and which EU VAT rule do they refer to do so?" It doesnt if you use the B2B product. You, however, are not using a B2B product you are using a consumer one which means it is under a different remit. It really is that simple. @"jmouritsen" You can pay for it via…

Dropbox has no such capability to do this - anything that would do this would be implemented by WhatsApp itself as they would need to write it in to their applications to connect to Dropbox.
-
Hang on - somebody has used your card for two years (and your saying illegally as you say you didnt put it in to Dropbox.com) then surly you should be contacting the fraud team of your card company and cancelling the card/getting new numbers etc. as the card is compromised? I'm also sure that the T&Cs will state on the…

Your are welcome :)
-
That used to be the case, however, it was changed a few months ago. Personally I think its safer this way because under the old model once they left there was no way for the owner of the share to revoke access to the person (say ex-employee) and so they could dip in and out of the share as much as they want quite possibly…

If I'm honest I'd suggest not giving her the password but setting it up on her device for her..... because if she has the email address and password she is technically an account owner. I'm sure she wouldnt do anything intentionally, but, if she was to say delete the account then it would be gone and you'd have no comeback…
-
The only way she will benefit from your space is if she is actually logging in and using your own account Your Pro membership doesnt benefit her at all I'm afraid. What are you trying to do? Do you literally just want her to be able to upload stuff to you? If so look at Requests: www.dropbox.com/requests If its to get…

There is a way of doing it in Windows and online as Jane said but NOT on a Mac https://help.dropbox.com/business/adding-place-microsoft-office
-
Hi David, You are using a beta version which is shown by the 3 within your version number (xx.3.xx). Its expected that these have bugs in I'm afraid. You can report it on the right thread over at the Beta area (https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Beta-testers/ct-p/101003000) and if you want to get off the beta and to a stable…
-
Did you do all of the other parts first - deleting the hidden files etc.?
-
Could you try an advanced reinstall? https://help.dropbox.com/installs/advanced-reinstall
-
www.dropbox.com/photos ?
-
They dont give roadmaps or features out etc. But my personal opinion is that there would be simply too many emails to send on a daily basis that would make it too unreliable and server intense - and the fact it would probably be marked as spam constantly.
-
No, I'm afraid not. You are going to need to inform them yourself, or, hope they have the software installed and that they see the notification that pops up on screen for a few seconds when files are changed.
