@"jkane" You can see the referral status at www.dropbox.com/referral_status Note you can only get referral space IF you sent him a link before he signed up.
-
The information given by @"Rich" is still the most accurate and up to date I'm afraid @"HMoosh"
-
As you are having issues with Xodo I'm afraid @"AngelitaS" you need to ask them for help.
-
All your support entitlement is available at www.dropbox.com/support BUT I also know from here (you can search) where theyve said on numerous occasions if you do not have access to the email address you cannot gain access to the account. The email address is the only thing which identifies YOU as the account holder. That…
-
Unfortunately not sorry :(
-
Hi @"Oliver88" I'm afraid it isnt possible, not without a third party integration (IFTTT as you said?)
-
Your best bet is to speak to YouTube support channels/forums about how to do it I'm afraid
-
Dropbox will still allow you to log in with the email and password regardless if the email no longer works as long as the password is correct. If it isnt I'm afraid there is no way to recover that account. Are you logged in on any devices at all?
-
Hi @"Helen Earey " As people have said you cannot go direct from Dropbox to YouTube it has to go via a local device (such as your camera roll) first.
-
Bad files check has been down for awhile now. Instead just make sure the folder names do not have illegal characters in it such as ./,; etc. If it does remove them online and it should start to sync
-
I dont think there is anyway to help (I dont work for Dropbox). Usually we'd say log a ticket, but, as free users cannot now log tickets I'm unsure what else can happen. Sorry
-
Unfortunately I dont think there is anything you can do - the system has detected that there is something not correct about that referral. This usually happens if people are using the same IP address or have been detected be on the same computers or mobile devices etc.
-
Hi @"TarekBB" I'm afraid there is no way to do this Mark
-
Can you download the file to your desktop say and view them once downloaded via File -> Open in preview or something?
-
You actually need to say what the issue is @"irobot"
-
Have you tried whats already been suggested/marked as a solution @"Thomas C. G." ?
-
Hi @"SandyDandy" Possibly really really simple.... but do you know which file it is (either via the app telling you its name, or, its showing the blue spinning icon over it)? If so move it out of Dropbox. Wait for Dropbox to then sync to a green tick and re-add it. That always works here. Another thing to look at…
-
Dropbox never releases roadmaps of featues @"Baud" and, being honest, its not something I can see them bringing in - Dropbox is all about collaboration and not using emails (think Paper/Comments etc.)
-
Its because you are using the Dropbox App - that is a read only app. You need to download and install the full client from www.dropbox.com/downloading. This will create your Dropbox folders etc.
-
I'm afraid if you are using File Uploads there is no way to stop this. A work around would be to use a Shared Folder with the other person, or, them to upload everything as 1 zip file which you then unzip and get everything out of.
-
Is this using Dropbox requests?
-
To what @"Kb58" ?
-
At a guess if the reboot fixed it then Dropbox either wasnt running or had crashed for whatever reason. Try a reinstall to see if that helps and just keep an eye on it: www.dropbox.com/downloading
-
I dont believe there is @"Leafchild", sorry. In terms of albums they are a depreciated feature now so there is no way of moving everything over quickly and easily :(
-
@"Chadbrad" wrote: for just accessing a preview. If so then that just defeats the purpose of the preview, as it allows to see contents before downloading them. Thats, sadly, how the whole internet works. Anything you view is downloaded to your device - in the local cache folders. You cannot get around that.
-
Hi @"Chadbrad" This is really going to depend upon your locality. However, in theory, I'd imagine you will be OK. It would be logged that you accessed the file (well, rather the IP would be) and if the police wanted to do so they could request info on who did access it. But I imagine it will also show how long you stayed…
-
They will need to do as the message says - download the file (as they dont have Dropbox). They can do that by tapping on the menu option to download or you can force it to download when they click on the link instead of previewing.
-
500 errors are usually not website ones but ones on your machine. Have you tried opening an incognito browser window and trying that
-
Have you tried just going to www.dropbox.com/plans and upgrading from there What error messages you getting?
-
As long as its a link and not a shared folder with any edit functionality (as you need an account to edit files) you can do so without an account. However, you MAY get popups asking you to join Dropbox. Tell them to just tap X at the top right or click ESC to get rid of the dialogue box - they may need to resize screen /…
