Holy sh**, they did it again 😂 Your link no longer opens another thread where you can vote for a change, but opens this thread which is wrongfully flagged as solved. Link in question @"rusdom" "Since this thread won't seem to let votes be cast any more, I created a new idea post, if anyone would like to up vote the idea…

I'm sorry, but how does this explanation resolve the issue? The problem isn't that we don't understand what the new icon system means, but that it doesn't make sense and it isn't useful. This doesn't address the most popular beef with this change - why would I want my folder icon to show online-only status if most of the…

"The changes were made in an attempt to give a consistent experience..." They are not wrong, after these changes Dropbox experience has been consistently bad.

@"arigoldfilms" Is it just me, or is there no option to VOTE? Seems to me this thread type changed from "Dropbox-ideas" to "Ask the community" where there is no VOTE option. I remember voting for this change earlier, now I came back to copy the link and share it with my colleagues but it's different. Link people post so…

Everyone: Extensive multi-page thread discussing this issue, with an easy revert solution, amid multiple screenshots and examples of how this change sucks. Meanwhile Dropbox: "Could you please send us an example screenshot?" It's hard not to quit using Dropbox, but it seems that's exactly what Dropbox wants. Smh.

Is it just me, or is the VOTE option gone? I wanted to send this link to fellow colleagues, but when I open this page there is no option to vote. (see screenshot if necessary).

"If a folder contains at least 1 online-only file then the folder’s sync icon will be online-only " How does that make sense? How is it better for users to see a folder is online-only when the majority of files are downloaded and availble? Please rollback to the previous system 😞

I though it was an issue but I realised it's a weird change to DB icon definitions. Earlier the white circle with a green outline and green checkmark meant a folder contains files that are both Online Only files and Available Offline. Now it signifies that a file or folder has been opened by double-clicking, or through a…
