Hi again @"LauraHunt", Sorry, I had read your message too quickly - you had already checked for weird characters. My bad. You said you have tried deleting the files on both sides - have you tried moving the file out just on your desktop? Does that change sync online so that the file is removed there too? Or does it still…

Hi @"LauraHunt"! Sorry to hear of the issue, I know from personal experience how annoying it can be. There are a few pointers in Dropbox help as to what might be causing the red X overlay icon: * Invalid filenames (files can’t sync if their names have certain characters or symbols) * Permissions errors (meaning you don’t…

Hi, I just now had the time to test on Safari 13.0.1 and also couldn't get it working. Would be nice if there was a future-proof implementation in the works, since Flash is starting to be quite the legacy solution these days. Keeping my fingers crossed to see this back in the future. Joonas

Hi! I think this might have something to do with newest versions of Safari rigorously blocking Flash (which is required for the Open buttons to appear). You could double check that you have Flash installed, then make sure it's enabled for www.dropbox.com in Safari settings. This used to work at least on the previous Safari…

I found this help article on Smart Sync. More specifically you could try the following steps: How to save hard drive space…

Hi @"tunggo" and @"Chiraggada"! Have you recently checked your computer for malware? A quick Google search for "I am sorry !!!!! jpg" would seem to point to your computer possibly having been infected by a virus. Just as a safeguard, you could try running anti-virus software and see if that possibly fixes the issue. Joonas

While I don't use Google Photos myself, maybe you would find it helpful? Download photos or videos to your device You can copy your photos and videos back to your device. Download all photos…

I'm having the same problem, both on stable and beta versions of Dropbox iOS app and Microsoft Office iOS apps. Same problem occurs when trying to open a Dropbox file in Office apps from inside Dropbox, from inside Office app or when trying to add re-add the Dropbox account. I have also reported this to Microsoft.

Hi @"Jane", I stumbled upon this thread trying to troubleshoot the same issue. Your latest post from June says it's a known issue and being investigated, however I couldn't find a post mentioning it having been resolved. What's the current situation? I found a newer thread about the same problem and submitted a ticket with…

Same problem on iPhone X (and what seems to be a number of other models too), my open ticket #6735486.
