We were unable to get this to work, even with the newest beta on 10.13.2 We used the safe mode trick to get them to show up correctly in the Prefs window. This is a workaround, and therefore not an acceptable long term solution. Hope they will fix this for the future.

I'm sorry Jane - it doesn't seem like a good solution to this issue to have to boot into Safe Mode in order to install this. Does support have a better method now? Is there a beta with a fix for this we could try?
