Hi @"aneshoda", thanks for reaching out to us! We looked into this and we were able to get confirmation from our design team: what you're seeing is an upcoming interface update, where we're trying a few versions with small sets of customers for quality testing and feedback. The gray folders don't indicate anything wrong…

If the link is clicked while on a computer, it will indeed open on a browser, but they should also open it from their phones.
-
Thanks for the screenshot, @"buckleyp". The contents of the folder is that video that appears there, right? So the contents are visible by the recipients. The blue "join folder" button is basically just a prompt, it's not necessary for your recipients to click it, if all they need, is to access the contents. For sure, they…

Hey Vince, we can actually only email you to the address associated with the account, which I just did. Since you're receiving the Community emails, we should be good to go, but let me know if you didn't receive it.
-
I see, thanks for the update, @"MRFishe". I would suggest reaching out to the Dropbox Sign team directly, to get a faster resolution. You can do so through this link.
-
Thanks, @"John1957"! Can you also check that setting that I mentioned in my previous reply?
-
Huh, okay, good news, then! Of course, if it comes back, do let us know and we'll happily continue looking into it. Thanks, Robert and have a good day!
-
Would you mind opening your link from a private browsing/incognito window yourself and let us know if you see the same thing? If so, please send us a screenshot of the message you see.
-
Hey @"Broadwaymhl", thanks for your post! I'm afraid that when sorting folders and files on the Dropbox mobile app, the folders will always come first and the files second. There's no way to change this currently, but I'll pass your feedback along to our team.
-
Hey @"jacqueakhan", sorry to hear about this. I just sent you an email, so we'll continue there.
-
Hey @"John1957", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Is the Dropbox application running on your computer? If so, what's the sync status and version, as seen when you hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray? Can you also check that the Dropbox system extension setting is enabled on this page?
-
Hey @"abelmonte12", sorry to see that you're having this issue. I would suggest opening a private browsing/incognito window and going to this page: https://www.dropbox.com/support/billing-issues From there you'll be able to submit a help request to our support team directly. Once you have your ticket number, please send it…
-
Hey @"DHK", do these files appear in your account on dropbox.com?
-
Hey @"Trailerman", I can see you have an update on your ticket from the agent working on your case, so make sure to check it out!
-
Hey @"Vince_2020SolarPV", thanks for joining us on the Dropbox Community. So, just so that I can have a clear view of the issue, you set up forwarding on the old employee's email address after they left, and do you have access to the email address the emails are being forwarded to, but no Dropbox emails are going there?…
-
Just to confirm, @"gregoirc", are you referring to the subtitles of the video in this link? So a Dropbox Capture video? And did someone sent you this video or did you create it on your end?
-
Hey @"London22", while you can't search for a specific folder name, you should be able to navigate to those folders from that box, as long as you know their location.
-
Sorry to hear about this, @"GerardoPetrosino" and @"Sabertooth". Are you on a Windows computer like @"moyay" too? Which Windows version would that be?
-
Hey @"JShizzle", have you tried these steps? If you're still unable to do it on your end, you can contact our support team, so they can assist you further.
-
Hmm, that's strange, you should be seeing the Dropbox version and sync status when hovering over this little Dropbox icon. Do you see this .Trash folder in your Dropbox folder? If you right click on it and then choose "get info", do you see the lock setting mentioned in the sync issues tab?
-
Can you also let me know the exact sync status and version of the app installed on your computer, Matthew? You'll need to hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray for that.
-
Hey @"marietararealtor", sorry to hear about this. What exactly is the sync status and version of the Dropbox app, when you hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar?
-
Hey @"manfred91", the sync status can be found on your Dropbox. Instead of clicking on the icon, try hovering over it; that should give you a bit more info as to which files are downloading, uploading, indexing etc. Can you send us a screenshot of what you see there?
-
Sorry to hear about this, @"MRFishe". Has your recipient checked their spam folder, to make sure the email hasn't ended up there?
-
Hey @"KeithV", sorry to see you're having this issue. Are you also on a Windows computer? And which version? Also, what is the Dropbox app's sync status and version, when you hover over your Dropbox icon?
-
Hey @"buckleyp", if your recipient is getting a message to join the folder, when opening the link, it means that the link you created is a "can edit" one. If you're doing this from the website, hover over the folder you want to share, click on the share icon (rectangle with an up arrow) and you should be able to access the…
-
Hey @"matteorox", would you mind attaching your screenshots to your reply instead of these links? There should be a camera icon above the reply box, for you to do so.
-
Glad to see that these steps worked for you, @"ct" . Some threads will get archived after a while, but I'm glad you were able to figure it out and resolve the issue. If you need anything else, please let us know. Have a great weekend!
-
Thanks for the screenshot, Robert! Just to confirm, are you hovering over the small Dropbox icon at the top of your screen by the WiFi icon?
-
Hey @"moyay", thanks for bringing this to our attention. This is indeed pretty strange. I wonder, if you go to your Dropbox preferences on the desktop app, in the "general" tab, what's the language setting there? Keep me posted.
