I found that I could share the folder using my phone but not my laptop. Very strange and certianly nothing to with internet connection!!

I have exactly the same problem. I have been trying for three days now to share a file that has become mission critical. I have tried all the rebooting etc and no change. Come on Dropbox get this fixed.
