When I opened the dropbox app this morning and went to the photos section I hit the retry button again and it worked! I tried taking a few new photos and they were automatically backup up. It looks like it's working again! (I see I got a Dropbox app update yesterday.)

I tried turning Camera Uploads off and back on and it did not work. I also tried disconnection from wifi and reconnecting and that did not work.. I disabled battery saving optimizations for Dropbox and that did not help. I looked at the permissions and everything seems to be ok there. I also tried restarting the phone…
