Yep. So they’re holding the old features to ransom. You get can them back by paying twice as much. Anyone else notice that one of the other vaunted features for the new level of account is “sharing controls” - which I’m taking to be passwords and expiry dates on links? Pretty sure I have them on my account at the moment so…

I have the second option, but not the first one. Hmm... Ah, apparently it’s only on iPhone 7 and later.

Not to hijack this thread, but I don't have the HEIC option in the Dropbox app (iPhone SE, iOS 11.0.2, latest Dropbox app). This is odd, as I also have a different (related?) problem where I can't enable background uploading and my videos aren't uploading for which I have a ticket open.

I don't really have a horse in the race when it comes to albums as I only have a handful, but can you comment on the concerns raised here by people who have hundreds or thousands of albums -…

No, they're saying there will be no more album sharing or photo viewing as it is now. Any photo sharing needs to be done through normal Dropbox mechanisms - shared folders, shared links - and photos will be viewable on a folder by folder basis just like other files in Dropbox - I.e. No timeline.
