Hi Nancy, I wondered the same and so removed it completely before then re-adding it back in as a secondary email (which it allowed) then tried to change it to the primary one. That's when it wouldn't allow it

hi Megan, the account was deleted a long time ago but can't recall exactly when. I can't sign in to the deleted account because well, it was deleted - I have tried. I have the same problem as toddd - I want to change my current Dropbox account email to an email address which is still associated with a deleted dropbox account. There seems no way to amend this without support. Can you please assist?
