Also Selective Sync seems to be happening for some older files, but still the Mac Backup file I had chosen to Selective Sync this morning is still in the Folder taking up space on my computer.

Also, I just tried to change my system backup to Selective Sync via the menu bar icon. While the setting was saved, it does not appear that anything happened. No syncing symbol appeared in the menu bar and the file is still living, hidden on my computer in the DB folder.

Thanks for the help! Did the sync test and if I place a file in the DB folder, it does appear online. DB states all syncing is up to date (and I have no reason to doubt that). I spent considerable time recently removing duplicate files and when I restarted my computer, I no longer have the DB status icons next to the folders.
