I receive this message when I try to open a file stored online

"Can’t load this file type
This file type is unsupported here."

It is a .dmg file from Intuit QuickBook. It is the user folder file

I just upgraded my iOS

How are you trying to open the file? Is this on a mobile device or a computer? Are you trying to open it through your browser on the Dropbox website? We need more information about how you're doing this.

I'm not a Mac user, but typically .dmg files are disk images, usually used to install software on a Mac. You mention iOS which is a mobile operating system and doesn't use .dmg files.

Thanks.  You are right.  .dmg is not my backup file.  I need to rethink this one
