Thats even worse than my guilty pleasure @"Sheena" !
-
It may be worth checking what account you are actually on - Dropbox has removed all unlimited plans and notified people this was happening earlier in the year: https://blog.dropbox.com/topics/product/updates-to-our-storage-policy-on-dropbox-advanced
-
How long ago did it expire? And has your plan downgraded yet? Both need to have happened to allow it to be picked up via website
-
How did you upload them @"DesDekker" ? If via the web then no, the system can not work out what has/hasnt been uploaded and you'll need to start from scratch. If using software on computer and you just moved the files in to Dropbox folder, simply restart Dropbox and it'll index and continue where it left off.

@"LaurieD" wrote:Just commiserating...I'm having the same issue. Links don't work when I download the file either, even though they did work on the original pdf I uploaded. Not finding much help... If they dont work when you've downloaded make sure you have not used Rational Links - as they will be based upon the machine…

Have you accidentally set up www.dropbox.com/backups ?
-
How were you uploading them @"GFCH" ? Did you put straight in Dropbox folder or use something like Camera Upload?
-
Do you need them to just upload to you? If so why not look at Requests instead: https://help.dropbox.com/share/create-file-request

Do you still know the email and password? If so just log on. If not you almost certainly cannot unless you have access to at least the email account. When you mention the phone does that mean you set up 2 factor security? If so do you have the recovery codes for it as well? You cannot get around that if you dont.

There isnt really a way to do this other than via the usual channels such as social media etc. Being totally honest..... I cannot think of hardly anything which has changed via threads on here. I doubt it is something that will come - especially as they've acknowledged it (which in itself is unusual).

He can revert the change as long as its within 7 days - if its longer than that your files will also have been lost (unless they chose the backup option). If he cannot move you out of the team rather than delete you need to set up a new account. The money for your payment, however, will have gone to the Team when you…

@"Graham" East 17 the guilty pleasure? I think we need to see some photos of you in big white body warmers!

Does Dropbox report any errors if you mouse over its icon on your status bar?

@"SMRose_FL" wrote:Thank you for your response. Does this mean that individuals will not be able to use Encryption on Dropbox? Yes this is correct. As has been said its going to be a Business only offering.

Have a look at https://help.dropbox.com/share/create-file-request 🙂
-
Unfortunately that I have no idea. Sorry
-
Have you had a look at https://help.dropbox.com/organize/restore-dropbox-backup-files ?
-
No. If you look at the link its 100gb for Professional/Essentials and up to 250gb with a business plan (3 licences needed though).
-
File Requests depends upon the plan you are in: https://www.dropbox.com/plans My guess is you are a Plus user; if so, to get higher, you need to upgrade.
-
Hi @"DigiDean" Dropbox is basically a folder on your machine. Its a bit of a magic one though, so, whatever you put in it replicates to the cloud. Test it with a file or 2 🙂 In terms of backup that does sound about right - 750gb is a HUGE volume of data!
-
Hi @"RJL" Has the file been updated locally since it was uploaded to Dropbox? I.e. Dropbox is syncing a change OR is the file open?
-
Thats quite possibly just luck, or, it was connected to something (ie a laptop or mobile) which was keeping itself logged in
-
Hi @"ljacques1" Unfortunately if its over 12 months since you last logged in the account will have been deleted for inactivity. That is why you are being asked to sign up for a new account - there is no old one and all data in it has been removed. Sorry
-
Hi @"hzee" To fix you need to rename the file to remove it I'm afraid. There are no wildcard / optouts etc. within Dropbox to not sync certain characters
-
@"conalwn" wrote:Thanks @"Patricio " - I agree - but I tried freeing up space, and I did actually start by asking if this was an attempt to drive me on to a plan where I'm paying for additional space. But the thing that doesn't give me confidence is that newly paying members also see this issue so it looks far more like a…

If you are not seeing the trial on your account page you are logged in to the wrong account. You MUST log on to the account that has the trial on to be able to access it and cancel it.
