Hey @"mondoblack", thanks for posting your questions on our Community. All you need to upgrade to any Business plan is a free Dropbox account. From your account, you can go to this page, and choose the Advanced plan, from the 'for teams' section. If you want monthly billing, you'll need to pay the listed price per user…

Hey @"Herman T.1", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Can you just clarify if you're using the search function on our website or the mobile app? And say you search for file 'a-b-c', using the hyphens, while searching. Does the desired file/folder not come up at all in the results? If you're on the website, please…

Absolutely, I just reached out to you, so make sure to check your emails. Have a great weekend!

Hey @"nicokasaka74", thanks for letting us know about this. Mind if I send you an email, so we can look into this a bit more closely? Thanks!
-
Hey @"Rmahashabde", thanks for the comment here. Do you mind if I reach out to you via email, so we can look into this more closely?
-
Of course, Filipe, I'll try my best to help you with this! Have you taken a look at your trash/recycle bin? Maybe you'll find them there.
-
Thanks for updating me on this, Filipe! When you reinstalled the Dropbox app, did you sign in to the same account as before? Can you also take a look at your deleted files and your events page, to see if you can find anything related to the files you're missing?
-
No worries! To remove a shared folder from your account without affecting the rest of the members, you can actually remove your access to it yourself. That'll free up the space this shared folder is taking up. As for the the shared link, it allows view access, so you won't be able to edit or delete anything, but you can…
-
I'm afraid that non-shared folders can only be accessed by the user that creates them. There is a 'sign in as user' feature, with which an admin can sign in to a member's account, however, that's currently available to Dropbox Business Advanced plans.
-
I understand, Tamara, and thanks for getting back to me. If you ever need anything else, make sure to give us a shout. Have a wonderful day!

Hey guys, mind if I reach out to you via email, so we can look into this more closely? I can reach out to you as well, @"Buzzly2012", if you want, to see if there's something we can do.

Hey @"daveyb98", thanks for the nudge here. Did you try the steps that @"Jay" mentioned above? Did those not work for you?
-
Hey @"FilipeMello", thanks for joining our Community. It seems you uninstalled the Dropbox application without disabling the backup feature first. So the best thing to do right now, would be to reinstall Dropbox and then disable backup. Once backup is turned off, you should be able to uninstall Dropbox and not have any…

Not a problem, Marc! As for your questions, the download limit is the same for all our plans (free and paid) and it's 20 GB. The desktop client does not have any upload/download size limits. And the upload limit for the website is 50 GB. You can see more info in the articles I hyperlinked in my previous reply.

Hey @"dmorrison", thanks for joining our Community and I'm sorry for any frustration caused. I'm afraid that shared folders take up space in the accounts of all the members that have edit permissions. If you don't have enough space, a workaround would be for the owner of the folder to send you a link, which doesn't affect…

Hey @"DN4", welcome to our Community and thanks for the question. Indeed, if a team admin is not a member of a folder, they won't be able to see it in their 'all files' page. They can be added to folders by others, or they can actually add themselves, from the 'content' tab in the admin console. That's the place where they…

Hey @"champton", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community with your question today. I'm afraid that there's no official Dropbox way to download and install an older version of the Dropbox app on your iPads. And even if you could somehow, I'm not sure it would work either, so it's not something we'd recommend. 😕 Let…

You're most welcome! If you need anything else, just give us a shout. Have a great week ahead!

Hey @"Evo Solas", thanks for posting your question on our Community! I'm afraid that with our 5 TB plan, which is a team plan (Dropbox Business Standard), you'll have to have a minimum of 3 licenses. Our largest individual plan, Dropbox Professional, offers 3 TB of space. You can compare all our plans, both team and…

Not a problem! Of course, you can definitely select multiple files or folders to delete. You can do that by checking the box on the left side of each file/folder name on our website and then clicking on the 'delete' option, at the top.

Hey @"tamarawill24", thanks for your post about Dropbox Paper! At the moment, with the way Paper works, the URLs will appear as hyperlinks with previews of the linked site. However, you're welcome to post an idea about this on our Paper idea board, for other users to upvote. Let me know if you have any questions.

Deleting files does free up space in your account. Permanently deleting files, though, doesn't make a difference, since the deleted files do not take up any space. The info about the bonus space was just something extra, in case you wanted to give it a try!

Hey @"jay27", welcome to our Community. This is actually a new change to the website's interface. It hasn't been rolled out to everyone yet, that's why your colleagues don't see it. We do appreciate your feedback about this, though, I'll make sure to pass your comments along to our team. As a workaround, you can use the…en Can I remove the new right click context menu on the website? Comentario por Hannah November 2021

Hey @"marc1234", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. Download/upload limits on the Dropbox website do exist, but on a 'per upload/download' level, not on a 'per day' level. There is a daily bandwidth limit, though, when downloading files from shared links, or uploading files to file requests. The desktop…

Hi there @"Z104", thanks for posting your question about your storage space! Deleting files is quite an easy task. You can find steps on how to do it here. If you want to add some free bonus space to your account, you can also take a look at this article. Let me know of any questions you might have.

Hey @"Buzzly2012", thanks for posting on our Community! Would you mind trying logging out of your account and back in, to see if you get that banner again? If not, let me know and I'll reach out to you via email. Thanks!

Thanks guys for the nudges here. I'm afraid there's currently no way to change the names of the backup folders. You're welcome to post an idea about this on our idea board, though, for others to upvote.

Hey @"sarahfelldown", thanks for reaching out to us. Would you mind clarifying where you're trying to copy the files from? Is it the Dropbox folder on your computer or our website? If it's the website, I'd suggest you download the files to your computer first, and then upload them to Google Drive. If you're using your…

Hey @"Kelsays ", thanks for posting your question on our Community! I'm assuming that you want these two computers to both be linked to the same Dropbox account. If you want to do a clean re-sync of the files, so both Dropbox folders are identical, you'll first need to unlink the computers, by signing out of the Dropbox…en How can I have two computers with Dropbox set up identically?
