Hey @"DoctorBob", thanks for letting us know about this. Do the changes you made on your home computer appear in your account online? If so, it seems that the issue lies with your work computer. I assume that's the one with the outdated version of Dropbox. On your work computer, can you please hover your mouse over the…

Hey @"dgound", thanks for the nudge here. This could be due to a temporary ban on your sharing. Are you still having this issue?
-
Hey @"dfscott12", how are you today? If you're the owner of the folder, you won't be able to remove your own access. If you want, you can make someone else the owner, by clicking on the dropdown next to their name and choosing 'make owner'. Once they're the owner, they will be able to remove your access. Otherwise, if you…

Hey @"AN26", so the difference between the files with the green check mark and those with the cloud icon is that the ones with the green check mark are available offline, while the other ones are 'online-only'. This is our feature that turns files into placeholders, available only when connected to the internet, to help…
-
Hey @"Ciordia9", thanks for posting your question today. Even though such a feature doesn't exist, if you just want to know how much space your entire Dropbox account is taking up, you can do that through our website. You'll need to go to the plan tab in your account settings, to see how much space you're using. I hope…

Sorry to jump in here, @"BrendaF9". Might we send you an email, so we can look into this privately?
-
I see. Can you try the steps in this thread, and let us know if they help?
-
No worries! Do you mind if I send you an email, so we can look into this internally?
-
No worries, Lisa, I just sent you an email, so make sure you get back to me when you get a chance!
-
Sorry to jump in here, @"sz999". If you open the file through its original app and remove the password, are you then able to preview it on our website? Generally, password protected files cannot be previewed on our website, so you might need to do that to preview them. You can see more info about this here.
-
Hey @"AN26" and @"simonemwood", thanks for reaching out to our Community. Do you mean to say that the Dropbox application was updated and when the update finished, your folder structure had changed? Or are you referring to a different kind of upgrade/update? Any additional info you can give us would be really helpful.…

Thanks for the info, @"Lisa_Vermilion" and sorry to jump in. Would you mind if we sent you an email, so we can investigate this internally?
-
Hey @"Heresmyusername", thanks for posting to our Community today. I'm happy you were able to contact our support team and that you got help with your question about shared links. If you need anything else, make sure to give us a shout. Have a great day!
-
Hey @"dechiaroma", sorry to see you're having trouble with this. Did you check out the article I hyperlinked in my previous reply, to see if it's helpful at all?
-
I completely understand, Roger, and we'll definitely keep looking into this. Can you hover over the Dropbox icon and let me know the current sync status once again?
-
Sorry for the delay here, @"TBat"! Would you mind disabling these third party apps, one by one, to see if that helps at all? Since these are apps that affect the layout/organization of normal Windows functions, they could be contributing to the issue.
-
Hey @"emsilver523", how are you? Can you let us know if you notice any difference in behavior, depending on the size of the files, for example? Does this happen with multiple pages (larger files), rather than smaller ones?
-
Hey everyone, thanks for coming to the Dropbox Community with this. Except for @"PC_Indiana", who's already checked, can you also look into whether you have any shared folders that might be taking up your space? You can check this in the plan tab of your account settings. Or perhaps you have backup enabled. Let me know…
-
Hey @"Kingpinlee14", thanks for the nudge here and sorry to see you're having trouble. Would you mind clarifying the issue? Are you getting an error message when opening a Dropbox shared link? If so, can you send us a screenshot, so we can investigate? Thanks.
-
When you say that you download files to your Documents folder, can you clarify that please? Are you downloading files directly to that folder, or are you moving the downloaded files from the Downloads system folder to Documents, and then you get this pop-up?
-
Hey @"Samanthaar", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Have you perhaps tried using a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if that helps? Let me know how it goes and we'll go from there.
-
Hi there, @"venca19", welcome to our Community. It sounds like this could be because of the external drive backup. Is this backup no longer saved to your Dropbox? Or do you see it in this page? Let me know what you find.
-
Sorry to jump in here, @"Roger B.30". How is your internet connection otherwise? Are you having other connection issues or slow internet in general? Keep in mind that syncing is also a more complicated process than just a transfer of data. The files are divided and compressed into hashed components, then transferred via…
-
Hey @"ashtrey1980", have you tried to quit the Dropbox app and relaunch it, or reinstall it to see if that helps?
-
Hey @"oldmax", if you go to the camera uploads settings and tap on 'upload from', do you not see 'live photos' as an option?
-
Hey anonymous, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Have you tried doing this from a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if you get a different behavior? Let me know how it goes.
-
Hey @"BurgessL", thanks for posting your question to us! Have you tried sharing the file through a shared link? A link gives view-download access to files you share with other people. If you want to test this on your end, after you create the link, try to open it from a different browser or a private browsing window,…

No problem at all! I'm glad to help and if you need anything else, just give us a shout. Have a great day!
-
Sorry to jump in here, @"DenysB". Can you open the Dropbox app, tap on 'account', then on the gear icon and then on 'clear cache', close the Dropbox app and then reopen it and try to preview the files again, to see if that works?
-
Happy to see it's working now! If you come across this issue again, though, do let us know. See you around the Community!
