Sorry to jump in here, @"ScottMcKernan". If it was a "Mac" folder that was taking up your Dropbox space, it seems that you had previously enabled our Dropbox backup feature on one of your connected computers. I'd suggest you go to all the computers linked to your Dropbox account, and follow the steps here, to see if backup…

Thanks for the update, Ridwan! Can you add a different file type, like an image or a video file, as a test, to see what happens with those?
-
Where did you copy the files from the conflicts folder to? Somewhere in your Dropbox folder or outside of it?
-
Hey @"Ridwan Musa", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you seeing this behavior only with Microsoft files or also other files that are set to online-only? And is this a large file in size? Do you see the same if you double-click on really small files? Keep me posted.

Hey @"jay-dragon", thanks for reaching out to our Community! An admin of a Dropbox Business team, can view activity and create reports from the 'activity' tab in their admin console. There are multiple things someone can view/create an activity report on there. You can see more info about this in this and this article from…en How to get the current folder structure Dropbox for Business Comentario por Hannah September 2022

Hey @"injust", thanks for taking the time to write to our Community. Sorry to see you're having trouble with this. Since you got the message that the version was successfully restored, can you try again, this time from a different browser or a private browsing window? Just want to make sure this is not a browser/loading…

Sorry to jump in here, @"cbbb", but did you get a chance to try from a different browser maybe, or from a private browsing window, to see if there's a difference?

That's great, happy to help! If you have any other issues, we'll be right here. 🙂 Have a wonderful week ahead!

Did these files have green check marks on them? And what's the sync status now, when you hover your mouse over the Dropbox icon?
-
Hey @"davidferleger", it sounds like you probably enabled our backup feature on your Dropbox application, when you installed it. If you want, you can disable this feature, by following the steps in this article.
-
Hey @"Shinoda", thanks for reaching out to our Community and apologies for the delay! Are you still having an issue with this or were you able to figure it out? Keep me posted.

Thanks for the update here! You might get another prompt to back up your iPod the next time you plug it in to your computer, but you should be able to cancel that.
-
No worries, Sarah, I just sent you an email, so make sure to get back to me when you have a chance. 🙂
-
Hey @"EE272", thanks for the nudge here. Are you referring to using the spacebar to do a QuickLook preview? And are you able to do this with other files outside the Dropbox folder?
-
Hey @"MohamedAlabady", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Was this an email that you received, or just a prompt/pop-up notification? Do you have a screenshot or remember what it said exactly, so I can look into it? Thanks!
-
Hey @"RidgeRider", thanks for reaching out to our Community! I've searched a bit and I have found this idea. Does it seem similar to what you'd like to do? If so, you can up-vote it and if it gathers enough votes, it could be implemented in the future. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for getting back to me, Sam. Can you check if you also have the 'Dropbox system extension' option enabled in your account settings here?en No option for "make online only" when I right click my files Comentario por Hannah September 2022

Thanks for the screenshot, @"eyeforty"! Hmm, can you confirm that the Dropbox application is running on your computer, and that the website is signed into the same Dropbox account? If so, can you please clear Safari's cache, to see if that makes a difference?
-
Hey @"Arabella Music maniac", thanks for reaching out! From what I can understand, you've enabled the Dropbox backup feature, when you connected the iPod to your computer. And you pressed the sync status on the Dropbox icon to pause syncing, but it got stuck on 'pausing', am I right? Is it still stuck like this? If you…

Sorry to see you're having trouble cancelling this subscription, @"SarahW2". But no worries, we can help you out here. Can I send you an email, so we can try this internally?
-
Hey @"Abe Abraham", thanks for the nudge here. At the moment, you can only download a folder if it’s less than 20 GB and has fewer than 10,000 total files. As a workaround, you can download the folder in smaller chunks, or use the Dropbox desktop app, to sync the folder to your computer. I hope this helps!
-
Hey @"SOpp", sorry for jumping in here. If it was backup files, they'd still show up as 'regular files' on your plan page. Can you go to this page and send me a screenshot of what you see there?
-
Hey @"eyeforty", thanks for the nudge here. Do you perhaps see a 'Dropbox' option with a Dropbox icon next to it in these options in Safari? If so, can you please click on that, to see if that works?
-
Hey @"Pt08", thanks for posting here. I've moved your post under this similar idea that already exists. Feel free to up-vote it and let me know if you have any questions!
-
Sounds good, Bob! I'm happy you were able to figure this out. If you need anything else, make sure to let us know. See you around the Community!
-
Hey @"Sam S", how are you today? Are you only missing the 'make online-only' option, when you right click on a file in your Dropbox folder, or are other Dropbox options missing as well? If you could send us a screenshot of the options you see, I'd appreciate it a lot!en No option for "make online only" when I right click my files Comentario por Hannah September 2022

No worries, @"UBG", I've just sent you an email to the address you have here on the Community. Make sure to get back to me when you can!

If you save the pictures to your Dropbox account (not Paper) and then use them, does it work?
-
Hey @"adamscheible", thanks for reaching out to our Community. I'm afraid that the steps you mentioned in your post about removing manually added contacts is the only way to remove contacts in Dropbox in general. If you login through a different browser, or a private browsing window, though, do you see the same behavior?…

Apologies, Roger, the thread is a bit old and the gear icon has now changed to your initials/profile picture icon. I hope this helps!
