Hey @"WesleyJ", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you using the Dropbox Passwords app on your phone, or the browser extension? If the second, on which browser are you using it? And if you remove the login for the particular websites and then add it back, does that help? Keep me posted.

Hey @"Figment", thanks for posting to our Community. Did you create the trial using our website directly, or through the app on your phone (which would make your payment come through iTunes/Google Play)? Thanks in advance!

Hey @"Vincehood", thanks for letting us know about this. Can you send us a screenshot from your settings, showing this behavior? Hey @"PuzzledUser", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Which version of the Dropbox app do you have installed and what's the sync status currently? You can see that by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your system tray. Also, if you quit the Dropbox app and try to open these files from the Dropbox folder, do you…

Hey @"NunzaumedeinRoss", thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community. Just to clarify, our website is like a reflection of what is actually saved to your Dropbox account. If you have files in your local Dropbox folder, which do not appear in your account online, that means that there's a syncing issue with your desktop…

Hey @"matsuli", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Can you let us know what you see, when you plug in your external drive to your computer? Does that bring up any dialog? Are you using this external drive on other computers as well? And what's the sync status of the Dropbox application, when you hover your mouse…

Hey @"dickson14631", thanks for reaching out to our Community. It seems you have enabled our backup feature, which moves your desktop folders to your Dropbox folder. You can follow the steps here, to disable the feature and move your folders back to their original locations.
-
Hey @"norm3", sorry to jump in here! If you enable our backup feature on your computer, your macOS desktop folders (Downloads, Desktop, Documents) will get backed up to Dropbox. They'll be moved into your Dropbox folder to a folder named "Mac" and you'll be able to access them from there on that machine. If you'd like to…
-
Hey @"arana", you've got mail as well!

Hey @"GadgetGrrl", sorry to jump in here. If you accidentally moved files into your Dropbox folder and you don't want them to sync to your Dropbox, you can just select and move them out of the Dropbox folder, to stop them from syncing.

-
Hey @"bobbyizqu", this is quite a strange issue. Does this only happen with jpeg/jpg files? Or with other types of files as well? Can you turn off the "email to Dropbox" feature and then turn it back on, to see if that helps?
-
Does the parent folder of the folder you're trying to share, have a "two people" icon on it instead of a plain blue folder? That would indicate the the parent folder is a shared folder. And to check if you're the owner of the parent folder, click on the "Share" button next to it in your "All files" page and then click on…
-
Hey @"Michaellangley", thanks for posting again! I'm not really clear on what this specific folder path is, but in any case, when you share a folder with someone, you share with them everything inside this folder. For example, if you give them access to a parent folder with multiple subfolders, they'll be able to access…

Hey everyone, if you haven't done so already, can you please try to quit the Dropbox app and then relaunch it, to see if that helps?
