Thanks for the update, @"Gustynpip", but would you mind clarifying how you're uploading this file to Dropbox?
-
Hey @"weltym", sorry to see you're having trouble with this. Can you check your backups page to see if your space is taken up by backups?
-
Thanks for your feedback here, @"CK12". Would you like assistance with the same issue? Are you having trouble cancelling your subscription?
-
Hey @"Gustynpip", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you using our website, the mobile app or the desktop app to upload this file? How large is the file you're trying to upload in size? If you're using the website, can you also try from a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if that helps?…

Hey @"Agent V", unfortunately, without access to the email address associated with the account, there's not much we can do to help you regain access to the account. Can you take a look at this article, to see if you can find any helpful info?
-
Hey @"Rammi-Kanj", thanks for the nudge here and sorry to see you're having trouble with this. After testing this on my own device, the feature does work for me, so you'll need to check a few things on your end. Firstly, make sure you're on the latest version of iOS and the Dropbox app. Also, the Dropbox app needs at least…

Hey @"Saltatempo", I've moved your post to this relevant thread. Make sure to take a look at this reply for more info.

Hey @"30003000", I've just sent you an email, so we can look into your issue internally, so when you have a moment, please make sure to get back to me.
-
I understand where you're coming from, @"raffishtenant". Hopefully, the app will finish syncing soon, but if there's an issue, e.g. it gets completely stuck, do let us know!
-
I do understand where you're coming from, @"getho" and we definitely also want to help figure this out. I also took another look at your ticket and I can see you're pursuing this over there as well. Reaching out to our support team directly is the best way to go in this case, as they're the ones who have the means of…

Hey @"davidisaacweiss", sorry to see you're also having this issue. Are you attaching files that are inside your Dropbox folder? If so, are the files currently set to "online-only" or to "available offline"? If they're online-only, can you right-click them, choose "make available offline" and then try to attach and email…
-
Hey @"joeking1", can you check your backups page online, to see what if your external drive appears as active and connected there?
-
Hey @"DANI3L", sorry to jump in here. If you quit the Dropbox app and then proceed to copy the file again with the Dropbox app closed, are you getting the same behavior?
-
Hey @"Rikybrain", thanks for the clarification here. I think that a way to accomplish what you want, is to add the files into a folder in your Dropbox folder and sync them to your account (as you've already done) and then use selective sync, to remove the folder from your Dropbox folder. This will keep the files in Dropbox…

Hey everyone. After looking into this, we believe that this is an issue with the Office 365 app, rather than Dropbox. We suggest you contact Microsoft Support for more info and a resolution. Once you have more info from Microsoft, please keep us updated. Thanks.
-
Happy to hear that, Jacob! 🙂 If you need anything else, please let us know. See you around!
-
Hey @"aihand", what you see in your events page, is all the info we can also access on our end. Regarding your Dropbox storage going from 124% usage to 60%, are you able to see any files that were perhaps deleted here?
-
Hey @"natasha123", happy Monday! You should be able to choose what kind of notifications you get on your Dropbox icon, by following the steps here. If you need anything else, please let us know.
-
Hey @"gloriathom997", sorry to see you're having trouble with this. Can you please send me the ticket number from your communication with our support team, so I can look into this? Thanks in advance!
-
Hey @"2023", sorry to see you're having this issue. Can you restart Dropbox, by following the steps below, to see if that helps? * Open your Dropbox desktop app if it isn’t running already. * Click the Dropbox icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen. * Click your profile picture or initials in the upper right of the…

Thanks @"Xiangliang", for the screenshot and sorry to jump in here. The triple backtick (aka fenced code-blocks) isn't a standard markdown extension. Paper isn't a markdown editor per se, and at this time, exporting a Paper doc converts fenced code blocks to four-space. I hope this helps.

Hey @"Steph333", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you seeing the option to convert an .mp4 file into an .m4a one? Would you mind sending us a screenshot showing this option? Also, how large is the file in question? Is it larger than 100 MB? Let me know and we'll go from there.
-
Hey @"Rich14", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Can you send us a screenshot of what you see in the plan tab of your account settings? Also, what do you see, when you go to your backups page online? Keep me posted.
-
Hey @"carldagostino", I moved your post to this relevant thread. Make sure to check Jay's reply that has some info on your query and if you have any questions, please let us know.
-
Hey @"alessandra_1897", thanks for bringing this to our attention. If you manually sign in, using your Dropbox credentials, are you getting the same error message? Have you tried uninstalling the Dropbox application, restarting your computer and then reinstalling it, to see if that helps? Let me know and we'll go from…
-
Thanks for that, @"toemaytoe". While on the properties window, if you click on the lock icon at the bottom right of the window, are you able to change the permissions of the folder? Note that you'll be prompted to sign in, but the credentials you'll need to enter, are the ones for your computer profile, not your Dropbox…
-
Hey @"leandrosilva", thanks for the screenshots and the additional info. Do you know how many files you have in your Dropbox folder at the moment? Could they be more than 300K? If so, can you please remove some folders through the selective sync settings, to see if that helps?
-
Thanks for your feedback here, @"raffishtenant", I hope you had a good weekend. What is the sync status of the app now? Did it continue syncing your files? If not, can you select the folders in the Dropbox folder and choose to make them available offline that way, to see if it works?
-
Hey @"Jacob7878", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. To control which specific folders get synced to a computer linked to your Dropbox account, you can use selective sync. Selective sync allows you to remove entire folders from you Dropbox folder, and it's computer specific, so you can have different folders…

I see. Strange, indeed. If you now add the Camera Uploads folder back through the selective sync settings and plug your phone in again, what happens?
