It honestly is a creative and useful idea @"tmstudio". This would be a major change to Dropbox's business model that involves live streamed video, selling paid access to that live stream, and handling music licensing and copyright payments on behalf of creators. Even if this were approved, it would take a lot of time to…

Hey there @"rebeccaraposo" thanks for reaching out and for clearly explaining the situation. I can definitely understand how frustrating this is, especially after the transfer to the new cloud service did not complete as expected. Unfortunately, upgrading your account now would not allow those files to be recovered, since…

@"Lin-S" I hear how frustrating this has been, I want to clarify one important point. The Dropbox desktop app is designed to keep your Dropbox folder fully in sync. This means any change made inside that folder, including deletions, is reflected everywhere. Because of this, there is no way to delete a file from Dropbox…

Right, but if we open a folder, click the 3 dot menu, and view file info, we can see the actual date modified timestamp, not a relative date. So the actual request is to make that particular information searchable? Making it searchable and changing how it may appear in a column for sorting in folder view are two different…

@"jsingleton" @"BogdanDinu" back with an update, the team is currently working on a fix for this and its scheduled to go out in our next update. Thanks so much for bringing this issue to our attention. In the meantime, you can use the native menu (right click) to resume syncing

Hey there @"MN_", welcome to the community If you upgraded directly on the Dropbox website, you will first need to cancel the subscription. You can do this by signing in at Dropbox.com, clicking your avatar, selecting Settings, then Billing, and choosing Cancel plan. Your Plus plan will stay active until the end of the…

@"Seneca_83" This is a really good suggestion, I would recommend you start a new thread in the Ideas Forum for dropbox to improve the media player where you can play files and interact with other files in your Dropbox at the same time. It may seem like you're shouting into the void and things take time to crystalize, but…

Will any recordings be available post-event for those who may not be able to make it?
-
This honestly sounds supper annoying @"rjpioneer" :/ I do want to reach out to make sure that this message is just feedback about our email alerts and there's nothing else you need help with right now. According to your post you have no files in the account and nothing is missing, correct?

Welcome to the community @"agregory_unidata" Take a look at our page on suspended sharing activity for a refresher on files that may not be in compliance with our policies. Deleting individual files won't clear the issue, you'll have to contact Dropbox support. They'll be able to investigate this further for you.
-
Thanks for the feedback @"mrtnbox", we'll forward your suggestions to the team.

"and not lose share permissions when moving files between accounts." Welcome to the community @"flymenta". I can't speak to the broader conversation of cloud managers, but in regard to the quoted section: Sharing permissions generally will not carry over if you move or copy files from one Dropbox account to another, since…

Ignore Files is available to all individual plan customers, stable releases as well.

I heavily utilize Shared Links particularly because of the flexibility I have with permissions and expiring dates you can set.

Welcome to the community @"WoohooJeny". I understand the confusion here, you are not doing anything wrong. The key thing to know is that any file kept inside your Dropbox folder will always stay synced to Dropbox, even if it is marked Available offline. If your goal is to keep the videos on your computer or a flash drive…

Welcome to the community @"xvilela" Since your Essentials trial is still active until January 20, your account is temporarily locked to that plan even though it is canceled. Once the trial fully ends, you should be able to upgrade to Dropbox Plus right away. If you need to upgrade sooner, Dropbox Support can help review…

Hi @"lpvmc" Great question. In short, people without Dropbox accounts can upload or replace files only in limited ways, and any changes they successfully upload will sync to your iPhone and iPad. For full collaboration, they would need their own Dropbox accounts. That said, there are some important limitations to be aware…
