A conflicted copy occurs when a file has been changed from multiple locations. Something has to have the file open in multiple locations for the conflict to…

You'll need to talk to InfiniteWP. They're the ones that would have created the software, so only they can support it. Dropbox only provides the API. InfiniteWP is responsible for any application that they create which uses it.

That's something you would need to program yourself using the Dropbox API. After the uses passes the file to your website, you'll need to create your own code to then pass that file to your Dropbox account. Topic moved to the API forum.

You seem to be asking two separate things; how to save a file to your Dropbox from a share link, and how someone using the Chooser can send you a file. What is it that you actually need to do? If you're viewing a share link and you want to save the file to your Dropbox, click the down arrow on the Download button and…

Fearg wrote: Secondly why do you need to email to your Dropbox account? Convenience. If I receive an email and I'm not on my computer (or I'm on one of my many computers that doesn't have Dropbox installed), I have to download the attachment, open a browser, go to dropbox.com and upload the file. Or I can just forward the…

Doing a bit of testing (and actually reading what was on screen), the share/files pages I linked to above shows you the files that have been shared with you, and not those that you have shared. The only place you can see files that you've shared is within the Files list itself (there is no display showing all the files…

How do you know they're shared files? Can you take a screenshot?

How did you share it? If you created a link to the file, it will be listed on the Links page. If you invited the person to the file, it will be listed on the Sharing page under the Files tab.

You can see a list of your shared folders on the Sharing page and a list of all share links on the Links page, but that's it. Dropbox does not have a way to list all of the files shared within those folders.

KD wrote:... since i cannot store the large number of large files... It's very likely the large size of the folder that is the cause. Go into the folder and try moving some (but not all) of the files instead. It will likley work fine.

danj, It won't be Dropbox doing that. It's simply not programmed to do that. The only way Dropbox would add a photo back is if you open the photo in the Dropbox app and choose to save it back to your phone. If your photos reappear in your camera roll after you delete them, then it's likely another process that is doing it.…

Ben S.48 wrote:How do we rename the folders so there aren't spaces? There is no official method to rename the Dropbox folder. The shorten link functionality in Dropbox has been deprecated and will likely not return. They have been heading in this direction for a while now, having first started removing the feature from other parts of Dropbox a couple years ago. This was one of the last remaining locations where it still functioned. As Olivia…

Program it what way? It already does exactly what you want it to. If the sync process is interrupted, when it resumes it just picks up where it left off. It doesn't start the transfer all over again (it does need to index the file to see where it left off, but that's it).
