The previewed image is not the same as the original. It's just a preview, and is optimized as needed for display on the preview page. If you need the original, unaltered file, you need to download it.

You can only save one photo at a time back to your camera roll. There is no option to save multiple photos.

The 13.X.X versions are quite old now. They likely won't allow you to connect with them anymore. The 3X.X.X versions are all recent. The latest stable build is 30.4.22. The latest beta build is 31.3.23.

If you're no longer a Dropbox for Business customer you'll need to use the ticket system for Support. Open your ticket here: https://dropbox.com/support Track your ticket here: https://dropbox.zendesk.com Replies take approximately 1 - 3 business days with Plus users getting priority (longer for Basic users). [This thread…

The bandwidth limits do not apply to the transfer of your own data. Bandwidth is only counted for share links and streaming to a mobile device. A first-time suspension for a bandwidth overage is 24-72 hours and will be lifted automatically. Each subsequent suspension lasts longer. If you're a Basic user, upgrading to Plus…

You're shift-clicking on the actual check boxes, and not the files themselves, correct? You can no longer click on the files. You have to use the check boxes. If shift-clicking on the check box is not working, clear your browser's cache/browsing history and try again, or try another browser.
-
If you're referring to the Dropbox website, click one check box to the left of a file, then shift-click the next check box.
-
You should be able to log in to the Dropbox website and access your files. Also, the files on your computer will still be acecssible, but any new files or changes to your existing files will not sync with your account until you are back below your quota.

kcammack: and is a reason why it isn't our go-to enterprise backup tool. Remember that Dropbox is not a backup utility and really shouldn't be used as one. Yes, it has some backup-like functionality, but if you're using it specifically as a backup service then you're using the wrong tool. There are far better services out…

That's also the typical response when someone here doesn't have an answer. Rather than leaving the post unanswered, you're asked to open a ticket so Support can answer it for you.

kfrancis wrote: How am I supposed to select multiple photos from the Photos page and then move it all into a folder? You can't move photos from the Photos page. When selecting files on the Photos page, your only option (for mutliple files) is to download them.

Moved to the API forum.

It's actually quite simple to downgrade or cancel your account. Make sure you're following the steps listed in the following help article. * https://www.dropbox.com/help/billing/cancel-dropbox-plus

No, it's not. Dropbox is not intended as a media player. For that functionality you'll need to look to third-party media players that can link to a Dropbox account for the media.

Dropbox cannot charge you without authorization. When you upgrade to a paid account (the only time you would provide payment information) you're purchasing a subscription-based service that will auto-renew at the end of your term. By continuing with the purchase, you're agreeing to this. You're able to cancel the…

Please read the links that were posted above your reply for information about dot underscore files. You're not supposed to open them. They aren't your actual files. They just hold data about your files that is specific to OS X/macOS.

There really isn't a need for this as deleted files do not take up space in your account. If you really want to delete the files in Deleted Files, you can follow the steps to permanently delete them, about half way down the following help article. * https://www.dropbox.com/help/desktop-web/delete-files-on-computer

Dropbox will upload whatever version of the photo is in your camera roll. Normally that's the original, unedited photo. If iCloud changes that somehow, and I don't see why that would happen, then Dropbox will upload whatever version of the photo is there. This sounds more like a question for Apple, in that you're asking…

Files uploaded to Dropbox are uploaded in their original resolution. If you're viewing these files through the Dropbox website, then what you're seeing is just a preview of the original file. The original, unmodified file will be seen in its full resolution when downloaded and opened on a computer.
