What about the text 'cat' inside an image? Say as in a text 'meme'?

As of this date, dropbox/paper has not solved this problem for either. The only solution I found for this was switching to Google docs.

Results from Paper do not show up in my Dropbox search results and vis versa in my Paper searches. Can you confirm @"Walter" that the expansive content search across Paper and Dropbox works for those not on Paper 2020?

Yes. I need to search a "name" and have all references to that name in Paper and in Dropbox be indexed.

Question: Does the search in Paper 2020 extend to Dropbox? Will searching for a name or a tag in Paper show results from Dropbox? Right now they are separate systems. Not easy to see "everything" in your search if you use Paper and Dropbox pre Paper 2020.

I agree there should be an announcement. But counter to everyone leaving dropbox for not providing an M1 native version, Dropbox runs just fine on an M1 Mac. I don't notice a single difference in the response or function of Droxbox from an Intel to an M1 Mac. And trust me, my Dropbox capacity is 50x the average user.

I wasn't suggesting it was deranged to for a customer to leave a product that didn't suit theirs needs. That would be an odd thing to say. I'd still be on CoralDRAW. My point is that a product's development follows the needs of the majority of its customers. Threaten or leave all you want.

Threatening to leave or actually leaving a company is a deranged reply. The rally for DB to upgrade to MI native software has 3 votes (including mine). You can't expect a company to care about an issue if the customers do not.

@"Tomcor" 's tip saves you from restarting/relaunching the finder every time the contextual menus are lost. I keep the system preference window open to toggle the 'Dropbox Finder' integration check box throughout the day. This feature is core. Dropbox needs to fix it.

This has been a problem with Finder and Dropbox for some time. I suspect this is why Dropbox created there own finder-like app, limited as it is. I wasn't aware dropbox had a toolbar option in the finder in Big Sur 11.1. I am on 11.1 also and there is no Toolbar icon available. This release is a mess.
