@"Brian C.62" wrote:Not sure why everyone says this feature is missing. It is still there. Look again. That page shows all the shared folders that you can add to your Dropbox. It does not show shared folders that are already in your Dropbox. The page that shows all current shared folders in your Dropbox no longer exists.

@"Myleen" wrote:If that is the code, how would I determine where it came from? By viewing the source code (email headers) of the message. Basically, it's looking at the raw text of the email, including all the header information which shows the path that the email took, and all the responses from the various servers. Once…

If you view the source code of the bounced message, you should be able to determine exactly where the message is coming from.

The version you want to restore... when was it last modified? If it was within the last 30 days, then you should be able to restore it. If it was last modified more than 30 days ago, then it cannot be recovered. * https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/restore-delete/recover-older-versions To be clear, it's not 30 days…

Where is the bounce originating from? More than likely it's the recipient's mail server, in which case they'll need to change their spam protection so emails from Dropbox aren't blocked.

@"Sondos944" wrote: ... I mean the same file exists in different folders and I want to change it once for all of them .. In this case, @"Walter" is correct. If you have multiple copies of the same file stored in different folders within your own Dropbox (regardless of whether or not those copies are shared with others),…

It's highly unlikely that Dropbox will ever develop such a feature. They used to have many photo-centric features, including a separate iOS app just for photo management, but it and nearly all other photo features, including the ability to create and share albums, have been removed from Dropbox over the last few years.…

Long press the link to the file and select Save to Dropbox in the share sheet.

You don't do it through the mobile app. You do it through the Dropbox app installed on your computer. Follow the instructions in the link I provided above. Also, make sure you have the necessary drivers for the iPhone installed so your computer can see the iPhone as a drive.

Yes. The Dropbox desktop app has the Camera Uploads feature as well. * https://help.dropbox.com/installs-integrations/photos/camera-uploads-overview

You can still save to Dropbox; you just can't set it as the default location at the moment. Long-press the link to the file and select Share to bring up the share sheet. Choose Save to Dropbox from the list and you'll be able to select where you want to save the file in Dropbox.

Change the link so that it forces a download, as @"Mark" linked to above. It's highly unlikely that Dropbox will change the Preview page.

The files are created by OS X and macOS. NOT Dropbox.

Did you use a Shared Folder or a Share Link? A shared folder requires a Dropbox account. If you just want to provide view and download access without the need for a Dropbox account, use a share link instead.
-
If the device supports it, there's a Direct Download option under the elipsis (three dots ... ) in the upper-right corner of the page.
-
From what I've read, apps that are greyed out in that list do not yet support the capability.

Dropbox has no feature to transfer files to other cloud storage service. In fact, I know of no cloud storage service that offers such a feature. You'll either need to manually move the files from one service to the other using your laptop, or use a third-party service such mover.io to handle the transfer for you.

a) As you access files that are marked as Online-only (cloud icon), they are automatically downloaded back to your computer and marked as Local (green check). They remain Local until you make them Online-only again. b) Right-click the file and select Online-only from the Smart Sync menu. c) The green check on a white…

The dropboxmail.com domain name is actually a legitimate domain used to send official email from Dropbox, but that doesn't mean that someone can't spoof the address and send fake emails that appear to come from it, such as in the phishing attempt that you received. You can find a list of the official domains used by…

You client has invited you to a shared folder. In order for you to accept it, you need to have enough space within your account to hold that folder.
