I find it mind boggling that 5 years ago (a 2018 "new idea" which is now closed) customers were requesting the ability to change folder colors and this still is not possible. From what I've read it's actually less flexible now than it was a few years ago...
I realize UI/UX people like things to look "pretty" but we live in a colorized world (well, except for my colorblind son) and being able to RAPIDLY distinguish between colors is imperative to moving quickly when searching through folders.
Our company/team is relatively new to Dropbox (24 mo) and staring at the same colored top-level icons hundreds of times per day is excruciating.
And the next step would be to go completely crazy and allow us to use our own internally-created Icons rather than mandated by DB icons. Very frustrating... We need Dropbox to help us operate faster. Not slower. Summary: Know thy customer.
p.s. You're even controlling which tags / labels we can use in the Community? Once again, "organized" but now I know why searching tags/labels is useless in this Community.
