I upgraded to Business Plus, but I still can't restore files deleted 6 months ago

Hello All, 

 

I had dropbox basic plan (Free Plan) till Apr 2024.

I have deleted 2 files in Oct 2023.

I want to restore them however as a basic user restore window in 30 days, which I have passed.

Now I have upgraded to business plus user on Apr 2024(as restore window is of 365days). Same account has been upgraded.

I am still unable to recover those 2 files.

Please help.

The name of file was - 
IMG_20210208_121218.jpg
VID_20210212_185013_02_01.mp4

What are you trying to say here, I feel you have not understood my issue.

Hi @rahulgaur! Hope you’re well and thanks for posting on the Community. 

 

In general, keep in mind that the file recovery window given by each plan doesn’t work retroactively. This means that the one year file recovery window you got will apply from the moment of your upgrade onward and not for files that were deleted while you were still on the free Basic plan. 

 

Give me a nudge, in case you need something else.
