You could try rolling back the Dropbox folder via www.dropbox.com/events and Dropbox Rewind.

You need to ask the manufacturers of the software for assistance. The Dropbox servers are fine, but, its more than likely API keys or links have changed or broken - at various points these need updating/changing etc. and if a developer doesn't do this the link fails. The "token not ready" error confirms this. A quick fix…

Once an account is deleted it is not possible to recover the data from Dropbox - you are warned this multiple times before you can delete an account. If you created a business account and merged the personal one in to it (again you are warned, and almost forced, to try and set up a new account) it MAY be possible to…

There is no search function available on links that I'm aware of. So, if you want it on your Dropbox you'll need to upgrade. OR ask for a transfer/download link and download it all to your machine and use Finder/Explorer etc. to search the downloaded content instead

This is still only possible on paid accounts at certain levels: https://help.dropbox.com/security/physical-location-data-storage

Are you sure you are logged in to the right account? What is www.dropbox.com/events showing? How did you pay? You will need to open a new one at www.dropbox.com/support while not logged in (even here!) so use an incognitor window. In that include the other ticket number so they can cross reference it, however, they may not be able to assist now if you are not paying - that support system is mainly only for account log on issues.dans How can I re-open a support ticket, when the previous one has been closed? As has been said - its www.dropbox.com/suppport. There is no phone or email support, it is all via that link.

Hopefully somebody will spot it from Dropbox here tomorrow and offer some help.

Looks like your sharing has been suspended. This is usually to a DCMA take down or sending viruses/malware - although false positives are not unheard of. You will probably also find previous shares are not working now. You need to log a ticket with support at www.dropbox.com/support.

I'd not worry because once files are deleted they no longer use quota so permanently deletion isn't needed.

How many files have you got? Is it a completely new set up? If so Dropbox works from smallest to largest files after creating all of the folder structure first. Dropbox does delete files if you are over quota for a long time - after multiple warnings via email, however. They are not just removed. Have a look at www.dropbox.com/events to see if that gives any clues, however, if they are not on Dropbox now and not deleted in past 30 days they are not recoverable I'm afraid.

Dropbox doesnt control the opening of files on your machine - that's done by your machine itself. Are you getting any errors etc. or is it just opening and closing? Are you opening via web or a folder on your computer?

Did you move them in to a folder already shared? That would share them. You can see all shares at www.dropbox.com/events and view all events that happened at www.dropbox.com/events.
